Dark Avatar ships

Haven't seen this in the posts. I bought and downloaded GalCiv Gold this week, Stardock Central shows that all files were downloaded and installed. I am aware of no errors in the installs. I've been playing Dread Lords with no problem, but this morning when I tried to play Dark Avatar, there are no ship pictures, just a white outline. This was for all races and all ship styles in the game setup, and I even started the game and all started normally but only a white outline for my ships.
Anyone have any ideas??? Thanks!!

Try turning off the 'enhanced ship rendering' option in DA's settings.

I called tech support, and my video card wasn't up to specs. Had a new 256 meg card, just never got around to installing it. Put it in and have what appears to be a whole new game! Amazing what a little RAM will do!!!
