Anyone experience with Dual Monitor? +A little improvment in WB

Hi

I just got my new system and im having now a dual monitor. The problem is the wallpaper. With windows or WB I never get it to look the way i want to. I tried couple of Softwares, but they had all been crap til now.
The only good one had been Ultramon. The options and settigns work fine. But the big problem is (that a lot of people seem to have) is everytime i reboot my system after installing Ultramon, my Video drivers are gona, and i have a 6 bit display on nvidia 8800gtx.

So my question here is
Anybody knows some decent software, for dual monitor wallpaper.
That i can have two different ones. Or that a single big one is displayed correctly in the way i want it to. (PS; I know the trick with Web settings for 2 different ones)

And here also my little request for WB. I filled out the recommendations email some weeks ago. But didnt had a dual system back than.
Perhpas its possible to have some configurations settings in WB for Dual/ multi monitors

txs so far

Ultramon screws up WindowBlinds, it even says that when installing. Forget the software, here's how you do it. Save an image that has the dimensions of both monitors(I have one 1680x1050 and one 1280x1024, so I use 2960x1050). Set image as wallpaper, go to properties and select TILE. For two different pictures, combine them into one image.

Use Ultramon.

It no longer has a problem with WindowsBlinds.

Make sure you are running the beta of Ultramon 3 on their site.

I'm using the Ultramon beta with WindowsBlinds 6 beta on from 2 to 4 monitors at a time and it's the only way to fly (currently).

txs for the tip.

tried the beta. works fine after instal. but after reboot the graphic is gone. and xp is running on 4 bit.

i was asking looking around. and there are some people with the same bug.Propably the graphic card

so have to think about sth else, than cutting my dual wallpapers with PS, in order to make them show in up the correct order.

Perhpas Stardock might bring a dual mon software for object desktop, or a WB feature. Would be great

So far they are one of the few Customizing Desktop software publisher, that are really thought through and work stable.

Ultramon 3 beta works perfect with WB6. I even get blur behind translucent taskbars. It actualy applies a nicer blur on the Black WB than WB does itself. WB renders it nearly opaque.

thomassen: Which OS?  On Vista all blurs are probably identical.

Finally find the way.
Ultramon when using mirroring has some issues with some graphic cards.

So for all who have the same problem. Just uninstall the mirroring option. And it runs fine. Even with windows blind.

Good catch! I never use mirroring so I never ran into it. Thanks for letting us know to avoid it.

Vista. I had a look again and the taskbars looks pretty much the same. The window frames appears a lot more solid though. I can barely see through the titlebars which is semi transparent on the Black skin. But it might be just the skin. It was just that without blurring behind the window frames you can quite clearly see through them.
