Missing Pinned Icons

I installed 3.20 enhanced on my Vista box and after installing an icon theme I seem to have lost my pinned programs on the start menu. When I look at the start menu properties the items (IE, and Outlook) are checked but they don't show up. Has anyone seen this before? If I log in with a different profile they are there but not under mine.I can manually pin IE and Outlook but I shouldn't have to. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Anyone?
I thought it might be my theme as when I logged in to other profile's the theme was the aero theme, so I changed over to that and it is still a no go.
This is what I am seeing after the install.

I just installed IP on my Vista box and can confirm that the Internet and Mail icons go missing once you install an icon package.

Well, for me IP seems to mess up the associations for the Internet and Mail icons whenever I apply a package. Going into the default programs control panel shows the start menu shortcut for any browser or email app as "unknown application"

I can only undo this with a system restore. And yes, I've tried this several times to be sure.
