It just wasn't meant to be for you this year, Ock.  It wasn't meant to be for my Dave this year, either.

Thanks for the condolences. Mari and I had a really nice night in spite of it - meaning we carried on a bit early into the morning (I was 10 minutes late to work...I'm usually an hour early).

I'm dealin...it always takes a few days to get my head back on straight.

Mari is flying to San Diego tomorrow to surprise her Dad on his 80th birthday, so I'll have some time alone to process it, (which is better, because she was way angrier than I was about it) and then I'll be good as new
