Idea on docks.

I was messing around with my docks today, 2 zoomers, and was thinking it would be cool if you could have multiple layered zoomers, like, 2 rows, and they'd swap over when the mouse passed a certain point.

and the ability to make the background take up the entire edge would be nice, instead of it stretching every time.

And yea, edge detecting for zoomers, having two or three icons disappear of screen when you zoom on on any can get a bit annoying.

I'd love to see zoomers be able to "flip" meaning you have, say, 10 icons showing and you could click on a spot/button/something and the dock would flip/rotate over and show 10 more icons. I understand the technical restraints to such though...what you think Jeff?

Why not just use tabs?  Click on a tab . . get 10 new icons.

Yup....tabbed docks can pretty much do that! Plus most people don't even know they can be stretched out the same as a window.

Because I'm not all that partial to tabbed docks. And come on, how cool would it be to have an animated dock? Freakin' cool thats how cool!
