Weather & Search Docklet Problem

Hi..

I'd installed ObjectDock 1.90.535u. But I can't use some docklets - weather, search..

As many people reported about that, when I inputted my region, I could just see error message only. Instead, When I did another nearby city even though smaller than mine, it's shown its weather. Besides, the time is not my local time, but US time.

My city is Incheon, South Korea, and I hope it's updated ASAP.

Search docklet is out of order, too. It said "load failed, check installation".

Let me know how to control that situation.

I use the free version but yeah, the weather docklet has been hit or miss as to whether it will work. The search docklet on the free version is working. Weather docklet just finally updated about an hour ago.

JazTonic: I'd try reinstalling ; something is likly not working right with your installation. (You can use the troubleshooting dialog to help back up your settings, which sound like they aren't the cause of the problem...except you may want to delete and re-add the search docklet & make sure it gets deleted from the program directory when you uninstall)

I think the weather docklet has incomplete local list, and has updated that continuously. It's just not only to come my turn.   I hope it's improved ASAP, and local time problem, too. I wanna use weather.com docklet now.

I can't find how to uninstall, just delete? When I installed this, I overwrited on old version. Hm.. Anyway, I'll try that.

Bichur, you said "Weather docklet just finally updated about an hour ago".

Who gets to use these "updates"? My version of OD Plus is shown as 190.026, dated 2007-04-25, according to Stardock Central.

I believe he means the Docklet successfully retrieved information about the weather from the designated weather station.

pictoratus is correct, that's what I meant. sorry to give the impression there was an update on the docklet (or odock itself)
