How does my "subscription" work?

I paid for ObjectDesktop, and it says I've purchased an "ObjectDesktop Subscription", and that it expires next year.

Am I allowed to keep using the products after next year?

You can keep and use the products, but you should archive them before your subscription runs out so you can have reinstall them if needed.

yes - best option is to use SDC to create archives of your apps - copy the archives to a disk for backup

Yes you have paid for them, the year to year renewal of subscription is to keep you entitled to updates for all Object Desktop apps.

Your login info will still work, all apps will still be there, you will just not be able to update after subby expires.
You can and should archive all the apps using SDC (Stardock Central), right click any app, Archive app, there are a few options.

The archives are stored in C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\BACKUP.
I browse to folder, deleted all. Then in SDC selected to download and archive all. If you do not renew you should do this just before subby expires. Then you can copy the archives to a disc so you always have them when/if needed to reinstall apps.

The Object Desktop renewal? It is $34.95 a year. You sign into SDC with your Stardock account info, it does not expire.

Should you not have a backup archive of the software and your subscription has expired, just submit an email to sales @ stardock.com or support @ stardock.com and we can send you an archive of the latest versions when your subscription was active. (Please keep in mind that we do not retain pre-release versions in these archives)
