Please do NOT download that.  It is not correct and may cause problems if you install it to your system right at this moment.

There will be big announcements when WB6 is actually available for beta.

Well, I did NOT install it, yet it shows as being installed today!



Can/should I uninstall it?

We've been preparing SDC to have WindowBlinds 6 when we actually have it available. I would guess that the live configuration got updated with the wrong information. The reason it showed "WindowBlinds6" as installed (and with the same version) is that it uses the same installation registry keys as WindowBlinds 5. It should fix itself shortly (or you can speed the process with Tools/Check for Application Updates).

Will this cause me issues? As I said, I did not install or update.

Sorry. Just noticed the "it will fix itself shortly" comment. Tried tools > check for application updates. No change.

Found the solution: In SCD, Tools > Settings > Internet. Then, refresh XML Data.

I did update for a year then got e-mail about it They said this:
Please know that your Object Desktop subscription has been extended to August 31, 2008.
You will have access to the beta of WindowBlinds 6 (currently versioned at 5.9 in Stardock Central.
Then I tried it did not even update.

What's ? My subscription is good until May '08. So I must to be renew My subscription to continue Update my WB 5.51 to 5.9 as "heartitude said". Doesn't it. Anyone who have a Screenshop of W.B 5.9 can up to here for Everybody see more? Does WB 5.9 work with Vista Now?

If your subscription to Object Desktop is active then you will get all updates until your subscription expires. 

The WindowBlinds 6 beta is not available yet, it is project for next week.



Does WB 5.9 work with Vista Now?


WindowBlinds 5.5 is compatible with Vista.
