System Tray Icon?

Hi,

Any idea why Window Blinds 5.51 with ObjectDesktop will *NOT* display it's system tray icon, despite the checkbox for this setting being turned on?

Did you reboot or unload-reload Windowblinds after using the checkbox?

tis odd

I'm think the other posts where I saw this issue were running Vista

I've had some systray icons not show before (not WB) when the program is running, but after I use Ace or CCleaner to clear the tray icon cache, they show up on a reboot

I've emailed Support about it, but in the meantime, I'll try the CCleaner route, as I already have that program installed. Thanks for the suggestion.

I haven't decided which works better between Ace and CCleaner
I tried Ace's trial then bought it 2003 - get free updates/upgrades for life

When Ace cleans the systray icons you know it - the taskbar disappears then reappers and icons start rebuilding
Ace also has about 210 programs in it's list for cleaning out stuff - Ace also gives you an option to zip up backups of old files and such, just in case - whereas CCleaner only does that with reg cleaning

Yeah, ran CCleaner with that option selected, restarted and still no system tray icon for WindowBlinds. Waiting to hear back from StarDock Support.

Thanks.
