Will WindowsBlinds 6 or later override the INTEL 915GM Express Chipset WDDM problem ?

And whats currently the latest version of the most expensive eddition ?

I'm sorry I know this question has been beaten to death but no one HERE has really brought it to light.

You can get more info on what im trying to find out here...

And here...

So the question is ....

Will WindowsBlinds give me full aero/flip3d support in any case with my 915GM Express Video Adaptor (With The latest drivers dating January 13Th 2007) ?

I would gladly fund any expedition to do so.

I would gladly fund any expedition for a reverse engineered 950GMA Driver that worked on my 900GMA (915GM/GML)

I have a decent system I just need FULL aero "glass" and possibly Flip3D support.

Best Regards,
~X~

If you are referring to giving Windows XP Aero features: the answer is no (partially). The Aero feature Flip3D is only available on Windows Vista Home Premium, Business, and Ultimate.

Edit: I stand corrected. WB offers some transparency for windows within XP, just not as customizable as with Vista itself.

It's been said that the 950 chipset and above have the wddm drivers. Now if my knowledge is correct, WB needs a wddm/wdf driver for vista in order to get the transparency correct.

That be said, they probably can fake it, but it will look crappy. WB6 is supposed to bring blurring effects and a lot of new stuff. But it needs wddm to work.
