  Funny you should mention that. The full series of Get Smart DVDs just arrived this morning. The wife and I will be going through those in short order. I forgot that we had ordered it. Takes a while to ship.

The movie is on it's way too, i hope they don't butcher it.

Well team, I finished my first attempt at the tourney. I think I can do better,but will keep this one as a backup just in case.

Meh. I could extend it another year or two to increase the score, but I don't feel like it. The chips fell at year 6 using this strat, so I ended it there. I'd rather go for speed than points, but I can't get it under 2 years yet. Yet.

I done one at 8, but the score was pretty bad....I really suck at the smaller maps!

I think my score was average, just no bonus points for me.

I'm going to go ahead and submit my game as played. I can't get a fast game in two years or better and have moved on to a game outside of league play.

Motti, sorry to barge in on your team thread but your concern does affect the league as well as your team.

It's nice of you to make the attempt to get your teams agreement on how you should proceed. If you can get it shortly then fine. However, please do not let this stop you from submitting a game.

It's clear you're under some time pressure this month. If you don't get an immediate response I strongly encourage you to simply use your best judgment and play the game of your choice and submit it. To not submit a game just because you don't know which game to do helps no one, certainly not your team and definitely not the league.

Give the rest of your teammates credit for being able to accommodate your choice.

On this same note, Shadow Worrior did check in at the Core as recently as yesterday at 6:45am EST. Did you leave a PM for him there as well?

You're right, as usual, Mumblefratz.

I'll go ahead with the game and submit a military victory unless one of my teammates would rather have that one. I can easily convert this one to an alliance victory instead if need be.

I have "practiced" several beginnings to the game (at round 3 settings) to get a feel for how things might proceed. Being a relatively "low scoring" player what type of victory would be best for me to pursue? I will be happy to try whatever works best for the team.

I too have been wondering about our team leader. I haven't started a game yet, but will likely get some play time this weekend. Motti I think you are our team's best choice for a military game, but I think we should discuss the games in our Core private forum. If we have to, we can just pick by random, and tell ShadowWorrior that's what his decision is.  

I'm good with going to the team private forums, but I need the password. I tried getting in when this round started, but no luck.
