System tray only showing 4 of 22 icons - ob V2, build 751

Hi All,

I have created an object bar with three elements (in listed order):

1) Task bar (no grouping)
2) System tray (No filtering, always expanded, space shared evenly)
3) Clock.

FWIW, I've already loaded the mcp_102.exe program for systray integration, the system has been rebooted and object bar is started at boot time.

My problem is that no matter what options I choose, I cannot view more (or less) than exactly 4 random system tray objects. The icons for the objects the ObjectBar does display are wroung, the icons shown do not match the actual objects accessed via right click menu . Atttached is a screen shot of the bottom part of my screen.

In the attached image, you can the icons (descrbed from top left to bottom right):

Actual menu, which icon is displayed

Object Bar:

Filezilla server - Ultravnc icon displayed
object bar - unknown icon displayed
outlook 2007 - mix of msn and outlook icon
object bar - object bar icon displayed (correctly)
Note the missing 18 icons

Windows Taskbar:
Objectbar
MSN Live communicator
Trillian
Outlook 2007
EveMon
ATI control panel
Volume Control
Windows Desktop search
Safely remove hardware
OpenOffice Quickstarter
ObjectDock plus
Rightclick
3d-egs mother board monitor
DesktopX
Stardock central
Walpaper Changer Powertoy
Heldup
CA-Antivirus
Ultra VNC
Creative Volume Control
WD Powerbook buttons
FileZilla server

So how do I get the object bar to be configured in the manner I want (Task list, Fully expanded System tray, Clock)??

TIA,

Sam S.

Can you package and upload your bar?

I tried to recreate what you have done with the same version of OB and it appears to be working fine.

I'm not certain how you want me to respond to this; it's not working that way on my system. I've removed and recreated the bar etc. However exactly four icons is all I get.

Can you verify that your settings look identical to mine?
If so . .it may be exclusive to something else on your system and time to invoke support@stardock.com
