Logistics Rating & Ships Disappeared

I was playing a GalCiv II game, all was going well. Then all of a sudden for no apparent reason, my logistics rating went from 24 (or 25, don't remember) to zero. I couldn't think of any in-game explanation for this.

Also, a lot of my custom ships completely disappeared as well from the shipyard screen. I didn't do anything to the game files or touch any of the settings that I think could bring this about. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

If you need to know more I'll reply as soon as possible, just wanted to list the general problem.

Do you have Mega-Events enabled? I think the plague event causes these effects. If so, research the cure and everything should be back to normal.

As a side note the reason your ships would have disappeared is due to no longer having enough miniaturization to build them.

I did have mega events on, and the plague occurred. So I guess that's why those things happened. Although, I don't think I would have ever connected that to the plague. I thought all it did was just lower the galaxy's population.

There are two different events - plague and disease. It's easy to confuse the two, or to assume they're just different flavour texts, instead of two completely different things.
