Can't update DA to 1.61

from GalCiv2 Forums
I'm using Stardock Central but when I click the "Update" button on the line that says "Dark Avatar (Expansion Pack) 1.50[Installed] 1.61.090[Available] 6/19/2007" it just brings up a browser and displays the GC2 downloads page, which only lists the full games for purchase. How do I get the 1.61.090 update?

Most likely you've not got either GC2 or DA registered properly--here's the normal procedure on how to do that:


Go to the Tools menu in SDC, and choose Register Products.

Pick Games on the left in the Register Products window, then find GalCiv2 in the Product pull-down menu. Enter your email address (same as forum account, again) and serial number, then click Register. If you have GC2 Gold, repeat for Dark Avatar (use the same serial).

Back at the main screen of SDC, pick Games on the left. You should see GalCiv2 under a Purchased Products heading on the right side. Select it and click the Update button that appears.

Click the + next to GalCiv2 and update Dark Avatar as well if you have it.
