DA 1.61 vista crash

GalCiv works fine. Dark Avatar however just puts up the screen then exits about 1 second later. No error code. I've also updated my nvidia drivers to the latest version.

Oh, it also did the same thing with the new graphics engine turned off.

Sorry but I don't think you have the latest version of the nvidia drivers. Some were released in February to correct problem with Vista.

You need to have the 101.41 drivers or newer in order to resolve this issue. Unforunately, nVidia doesn't often release updated mobile chipset drivers. You can find modded versions of the desktop GeForce drivers at laptopvideo2go.com that will work on your laptop and fix you right up, though.
