WindowFX draws slow!

I tried the windowfx on my windows vista system and when i move around the windows it draws very slowly. Is this the expected result when installing on vista? i am using the latest version through Stardock central.

Performance advice also states that constant alpha blending and per pixel alpha blending is not supported by my drivers. I got a Geforce 8800gtx, vista home premium and the latest vga drivers for my card.

Do i have to wait for a vista version of this program, or is it something i can do about the performance issue?
