Flush-Right Items on a Dock

I noticed that on one of the docks that comes with ObjectDock Plus, some of the items are flush-left, then a space in the middle, then others are flush right. Whenever I add items to a dock they always end up flush-left. How do you make a specific item on a dock go flush-right and stay? Regards, Chuck Billow

Chuck Billow Rightclick in a blank area on the dock, select Dock Settings, then choose Dock Contents. Here you can choose which icons you would like displayed, Then under System Tray/Taskbar placement you can choose which side of the dock you would like your minimized windows or system tray to be.

Hey CWBillow, you can't link a pic from your PC, it needs to be upload to an image sharing site such as Photobucket or ImageShack, the use the URL from there.

If OD config does not look like below then I would suggest that you try a uninstall reinstall of OD.

I guess I'm just showing how slow I am on the uptake...: (Rightclick in a blank area on the dock, select Dock Settings, then choose Dock Contents. Here you can choose which icons you would like displayed, Then under System Tray/Taskbar placement you can choose which side of the dock you would like your minimized windows or system tray to be) I can have the icons go flush right or left, but where the heck do I find a way to have space in the center of the dock? Is this actually where hidden items are? If so, can I put other items where these are? Does this work on "regular" docks AND tab docks?

There isn't a setting for that perse but that could be listed as a requested feature if you so wished it.

SeaBass6.7:Then how the heck did they do it with the default tab dock that installs at installation? If I click on the Internet tab, I have, left to right, five icons, then blank space (missing icon?), Then three more. If it's just a blank spot, how do you put that there? 'Cause I could just place those where I want, and .... Chuck

Hey CWBillow, I just loaded the OD default theme, what you are seeing (blank space) on the internet tab is separator. If clicked and dragged off tab all icons will be together. To set this up on other tabs and regular docks, right click on dock, Add Entry on tabbed dock and Add on regular dock, New Separator. Once it is there you can drag it to where you want it on dock. Separators that are transparent as in default can be tricky to find at times, just click where blank and drag, when icons move and then create a space between them you have the separator.
