Dark Avatar vs Dread Lords : Modding/Comp Requiremtn questions

Hey, im just wondering firstly, how drastic are the computer requirements changed between Dread Lords and Dark Avatar? my computer isnt top of the line. it runs Dread Lords fine (gets laggy for explosions or when lots of ships are present), so im wondering if Dark Avatar will kill my system, or if its the same requirements?

also, i modded my Dread Lords a lot (new techs, parties, etcetc), so im wondering if my modding efforts can carry over into Dark Avatar?

The official requirements are the same, though if you post your specific system specs, we could offer some more precise advice on that.

Some mods will need some adjustment in order to work on DA (new values in some of the XML files you'd need to account for, the races being the most changed).

ummm... my system specs... i can tell you what it says on the front of the computer XD. Intel Pentium 4, 3 GHz processor speed, 800 MHz FSB, 1MB L2 Cache, Intel 915G chipset, Intel graphics media accelterator 900, 200 GB SATA, 7200 RPM HD, 512 RAM

i duno what much of that means

It should be doable. If the onboard intel graphics don't have a problem with the new graphics engine (added in 1.6 to increase performance), you should be able to do just as well as with DL.
