2 problems (bugs?) with objectdock 1.9

No image in fullscreen (using mpc) & update problems with the weather applet

Hello,

I recently updated from objectdock 1.6 to 1.9 and found 2 immediate problems which I didn't previously have...
First off, when using Media Player Classic (with Windows Media Player this doesn't happen) if I have Objectdock running I cannot get an image in fullscreen mode, only sound. If I close objectdock this problem goes away. Now, I know a simple solution is closing and restart objectdock in between "fullscreen sessions" but after a while this is a pain really...

My second problem is related to the weather applet, the code I used with the weather applet from 1.6 no longer works in 1.9 (the code is for "Porto, Portugal" -> POXX0022)

I use MPC with all of CCCP (Combined Codec Community Pack) settings which include running in overlay mixer mode. I use Windows XP SP2 + all post-SP2 updates.

The weather applet uses accuweather.com instead of weather.com.  Go there and try the code provided.  There are still some bugs with the new weather provider so your results may be mixed.  They are being addressed.

MS has a history of poor overlay implementation.  It has appeared in teh past that while they have fixed their problems, some apps that use overlays have not.

Thanks for the fast reply

About the weather applet I just tried "Porto, Portugal" as a location, which yesterday didn't work, and it worked! So sorry for the trouble (I've got a request though, would it be possible to add how the fly out behaves? I use the applet in the corner of my dock and when I use the fly out menu half of it disappears out of the screen. It would be cool if I could choose a "different" fly out, like in a straight line down)

As for the overlay thing, are you saying it is a problem with Media Player Classic? (if it is I've got another post to make... eh eh)

As long as we're on the topic of bugs... I'm using 1.9 as well, and this is gonna sound insane, but I've devoted some time to making sure it's doing what I think it's doing.

While I have the Vista Aero theme up and try to launch iTunes from OD, it reverts back to Aero Basic. The kicker? It only does that if I run iTunes off the OD shortcut. I can run it from a shortcut anywhere else, but not OD. And it only seems to happen with iTunes. I know I sound like a moron, but believe me, I feel like one, too. lol

I presented my problem to the developers of CCCP and was told that the problem is probably related to the transparency feature of objectdock. If I set it to "opaque" and restart objectdock I can once again see movies in fullscreen, any setting other than "opaque" no image whatsoever.

Please forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I've been looking at accuweather.com,
where can I find the code for my city?

What city?

zathrus, type in Cape Town, South Africa into the weather docklet properties. I am in Canada and currently have the weather showing for your city. Unfortunately it does show in the flyout Today, Tomorrow, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. But Stardock is aware of this issue.
