Remove icon when minimized

from Stardock Forums
When I minimize a application or a folder it apears to my right side in the dock. But there is a Icon of witch program is running. Can I remove that and just have the thumbnail of the minimized program? now there is a thumbnail with an application icon.

look in od config - can't remember where in there and i'm not at thome to look - but there is a setting to represent minimized apps by a thumbnail

This is the only line I can find. I what to remove the smalicon that is being placed at the front om the screenshot! Is that possible?

I am not sure that you can gonace, I looked under dock contents & am unable to find a setting there to change it & of course changing image under properties just changes the icon in front of that window. Maybe someone else can answer that

i don't see a pic - but i think i get it

create a blank .png - use that when you change image

hmmm.... when the app/window is open = dock is blank
when minimized, the thumbnail shows with no icon
