WindowBlinds 5.5 Questions

WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 5 (5.5 (build 94 x86))

Is that the latest version for XP? I've noticed that some people have builds higher than 94 x86?

Also how come I don't see a "Windows Experience" score in my WB system information? Is this only for the VISTA version?

Your machine does not support per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

This is because :

Your computer graphics hardware does not support acceleration of per pixel alpha. WindowBlinds requires this for per pixel alphablended borders as without it performance would be poor. Please see if you can obtain new drivers for your graphics hardware. Recent ATI & NVIDIA boards should support this feature. Onboard graphics tend not to.

It appears you have enabled limited per pixel mode, so WindowBlinds will support per pixel, but with no hardware support.

(ViewSonic VA1912w SERIES) 1 is attached to RADEON 9200 SERIES

I have updated to the latest ATI drivers but I'm still getting the same "does not support pixel borders on WB skins." Does this have to do w/ my graphics card (Radeon 9200 series) and it will not support pixel border regardless of drivers?

Yes, the higher builds are for Vista.

Yes a Vista thing.

I have a 9200se, I get best performance with original drivers from install disc, driver version 6.14.10.6483. Even with updated drivers that support the 9200 series has always supported per pixel.

Do you know WHY "pixel borders" aren't supported on my 9200 series?

Is it a SETTINGS issue in WB or ATI Catalyst Control Center???

How did you get it to work on yours?

Default settings for drivers from install disc, even when I tried updated drivers ( which don't play nice with WindowFX or 1280x1024 res for WB, no per pixel ) the default settings allowed per pixel for WB.
