missing extras

I went to make a ship and noticed a lot of the jewelry parts were missing, but if I selected a different ship appearance different parts would show up. Is this a bug or is it actually set that way, and is there a way to make all the parts available?

Never mind, I'm just an idiot... didn't notice the other selection options under extras.
