wait a minute.......if i make bootskins for windows xp, wouldn't it work on vista as well?

Getting back to the thread topic, any hint yet when we might be seeing a beta for Bootskin Vista. Haven't heard a word on it lately.

No, the software is different because it's for Vista, I doubt that bootskins made for winxp will work in Vista - in fact I've heard people try to install & run the existing bootskin app with disastrous results. Based on how LogonVista works, I'm wondering if BootskinVista will work the same way, no way to change the progress bar or progress bar placement/length/graphics, all you will be doing is changing the bootskin background image - don't quote me on this because I'm not part of the development process, it's just an idea I had.

Hmmmm let me think now...WindowBlinds 6,Tweak Vista,Sound Packager,Premium Suites,Premium Skins,SkinStudio 6 tutorials all in the space of a few days .........yes I would say Stardock are well and truly at home and putting out lots of great stuff at present.
Vista Bootskin will come and I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
