APPEAL: Need YOUR help to get more coolness in the game

If you haven't seen the improvements Kryo plans for his Hull Systems Mod, check this out before reading on.


Stardock is great. Stardock listens to us. Kryo has a great mod. Kryo has some great new ideas. I'd like to see Stardock make the changes to get them implemented. Let's ask for them... if enough people want them, StarDock will probably put them on the priority list.

Obviously, we don't want to spam them, but if you like Kryo's ideas, you could just mention this whenever StarDock asks what you want to see in future updates. It might help to include this link to the original post:

I agree, it would be really cool if we could have proper rotating parts and be able to use hulls as jewlery. I'm not sure why they haven't already done this - it's only looks, so it shouldn't matter to the metaverse. Admittedly, it's going to take more memory, but maybe we should have a toggle somewhere that disables the functionality.

Glitch, you actually can do that now using the current version of Kryo's hull mod. There is also a "lite" version that is Metaverse compatible.

I can't imagine it would take that much more memory... the hulls-as-jewelry doesn't seem to (apart from the memory necessary for the additional components, of course).

I imagine that the reason the hulls-as-jewelry isn't a standard part of the game is probably a combination of it being too confusing for people who just bought the game, and incorporating it would kind of steal Kryo's thunder a little.

I am assuming they haven't made rotating parts an option because it won't impact many people. Not everyone uses mods, or Kryo's mod, and the developers probably feel they should concentrate on bug fixes, performance, and enhancements that everyone can use. It is OUR job to convince them that a lot of us want this!

How could we not drop in to the thread and say we want Kryo's extra's implemented?
They really would add extra coolness to the game,and I for one will be happy beyond description to see them put in.
