I cant apply themes downloaded from wincustomize

When i apply a theme, it goes back to the windows classic theme, and it doesnt evens do that right, the buttons to close the window, minimize, etc.. dont show and a part of the taskbar doesnt shows too. I want my SKINS!! Even tho, some default skins of WindowBlinds apply well. The operating system i got is Vista. I dont know why so many problems, plz help.
