windows blinds not applying the skin

help

hi folks. i installed windows blind 5.5 on my pc. installed and tried applying a certain skin. the weird thing is that after i apply the skin, nothing happens. i tried applying the default windows xp skin and it worked? what do you guys think is the problem?

i alos tried uninstalling/reinstalling the software and restarted my pc a couple of times? i dont know what is going on. It was working on my older pc.

the best could be copy past here the informations of your system
In windownlinds go to system information and copy/past them here

Ok and witch skin did you try to load? and did you try skins already present in WB?

tried all of them. nothing worked. i also downloaded from the site, still the same thing. there are 2 skins that are working. windows classic and windows xp

try to update WB with Stardock central your version appear older than mine

if you have a registration already active not, download SDC (free) and update the software that's all

i forget you need in SDC to go to "tools"->"register products" and enter your registration code

I could be wrong, but I think you need to go to Home Depot and pick up some mortar.
