iTunes 7.2, iTunes Plus Released

Apple has released iTunes 7.2 along with iTunes Plus. iTunes Plus will allow you to purchase DRM-free music at $1.29, and you will be able to upgrade your existing music as well.

It also appears iTunes is now officially compatible with Windows Vista.

I saw this earlier and am very excited by it, though they hedged a bit by saying its protection was less rigorous than the DRM ones, but didn't go into detail. Does anyone knowexactly hoe this will work?

The DRM has been the sole thing preventing me buying music over iTunes.

I don't know the specifics as I don't plan to buy the DRM-free version. I have used iTunes for years without problem.

I'm going to upgrade all of my music over time since I like WMP and Media Center in Vista more than iTunes.

Only 4 of my songs are on Plus.
