Cannot download fro Stardock!

I'm sure I'll feel mighty stupid when someone tells me whats going wrong, but why is there no available option for me to download my copy of Dark Avatar, which I just purchased? It is not listed as a purchased game in the Games section and no other option seems to present itself. Help please.

Do you also have GC2 registered on the same account? That is required in order to download DA.

I do, but it keep getting some junk about my serial number being invalid, and I've read up on that particular problem. Do I have to buy a whole new version of it to get the game I already paid for?

What's the exact error you get, and when?

Whenever it asks for my Serial Number (which it says should be on the back of my 'Jewel Case' though it is actually on the back of my manual on a sticker (I have a limited edition box)) it has for quite a while been telling me that that serial number is already registered to someone else not of my email address, or that it is invalid and I should check the information agaisnt my order email, which I don't have seeing as I bought the game in a shop. However, when I change my serial number from GC2-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX to GC2XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX it then tells me that my serial number has expired and needs renewing. I thought the game was new when I bought it, and it was marked as such, but I can see it being possible that it was second hand from the place I bought it from.

The GC2- serials are not for the game itself, but for unlocking the collector's edition content. I'm not sure how you could have registered one of those in place of a standard game serial to begin with, as they should be rejected when used for that purpose. The serial needed to register and download the game is 28 characters long with no dashes, only A-F and 0-9.

If your box doesn't include one after the proper format at all, then try entering the collector's edition serial you do have on this page. If it doesn't accept it there and issue you a game serial, you'll need to contact support@stardock.com.

Just a quick query, how long should Support take to get back to me on this?

Did you get an automated response issuing you a ticket immediately after you sent your mail off? If not, check your spam/bulk folders for it.

So long as you did get that reply and were issued a ticket, a support tech should get to your ticket within 48 business hours, IIRC.

I never recieved such an item, should I re-send my email or will I get one later?

No, if you didn't get one immediately you probably won't get one. If you want to try email again, use a different address/account if you have one. I know we've had issues with free ones such as hotmail eating support responses in the past, if that's what you used the first time.

If the email is not getting through one way or the other, you can also submit a ticket directly here. Just click Next on the first page, then fill out the ticket. You do not need to sign up for an account there or anything.
