I hope your using version 1.9 If not then you should upgrade. If you just installed then I suggest a reboot and see if the icons show up.

And then make sure that both the "Enable MCP..." options in SDC are turned off - unless you have other apps that need them eg ObjectBar, DesktopX (?)...

forgive my ignorance but Enable MCO in SDC...???? I have no clue where that is! I only have ObjectDock and Windows blinds.

thanks

: From where did you obtain ObjectDock Plus? I don't see an account under this email address. I would suggest contacting support@stardock.com under the email address you used to purchase ObjectDock Plus and reference this thread here.

options in SDC are turned off -

SDC = Stardock Central - it's a downlaod manager for Stardock's products. You can download it for free and once installed and you've registered your paid-for products through it, it will manage all the updates etc. I also use it to interact with these forums

It's that app that has the options I referred to, not ObjectDock.

ObjectDock 1.9 Plus has been released on the torrent sites, and I think that's why you're finding this rash of people who don't have systray icons appearing, and have no idea what Stardock Central is. The cracked version most likely doesn't involve the license manager, which also contains the graphical hooks for things like systray.

I am having this exact same problem. I tried this

This worked great for me,maybe some can try this if they have not done so yet.

If you have SDC make sure in the tools tab you click on settings and in the general setting you have both of the "enable mcp" boxes UNchecked, then go into your program files folder and in the stardock folder you go into the objectdock folder and in there find the file "stardocktray.dll" and copy this file somewhere in a different folder so you can retrieve this file if this solution does not work. Now that you have done this REname the file"stardocktray.dll" to anything you like (I used junk for example). Now once that is done Reboot system, when you are all back up and running(make sure OD+ is not going to start up automatically and is not runnig at all)Now go into program folder and in the stardock folder go into objectdock folder and now delete "stardocktray.dll>renamed "junk",now the file no longer resides in that folder.Last part, start up SDC and check mark both ENABLE MCP and then make sure OD+ is setup to automatically load on start up,Now REBOOT the system and when it all is loaded up you should now have your systray icons showing.

But, nothing helped. I only purchased plus in order to have my systray! Please help!

Same issue.

Windows 2000 SP4.

Everything else in ObjectDock Plus 1.90 works fine. Not a torrented user, I paid through the site and this email is the one I used to register it.

First thing, I got rid of the tabbed dock up top. Then I made a new, standard dock with nothing in it and enabled the system tray icons to display there.

I get:
1 ObjectDock icon that I can right click for a little popup menu.
1 Windows update notifier icon that if I touch at all it dissapears for about 5 minutes then comes back.

Nothing else shows up, no network connections, graphics card app, system monitor, or anything.

I tried that little "ENABLE MCP" fix in stardock central as well. /shrug oh well, I hope this gets fixed soon.

I just don't understand why it displays only 2 out of 10 or so icons, and why only those 2?
