XP Pro shut Down Slow...

Windowblinds slowing system

Posted May 22, 2007 00:24:04
Hi, I recently installed Windowblinds 5.5 on my XP pro machine. System is up to date on all drivers, core duo extreme cpu 6 gig of ram SLI duall 8800's , so I am sure my system has enough power to run Windowblinds, but it slows my shutdown to over a minute or so. That is a bit unacceptable for me. Obviously if when I uninstall Windowblinds my system returns to normal. Is the program using too much resource? Is there a patch, fix, or woraround? Rhanks for any assistance.

I hope you are running WinXP 64 bit, otherwise you wasted your money on 2 gigs of that ram.
