Download once = ok, download twice = nono (DA)

ok, I had the graphics glitch with DA that makes ships and starbases have "spikes" comming out of them, i also had decreased framrate and every responce became much slower. so i did what the last option was to do: uninstall DA and reinstall it. well I uninstall it with no problem but now when i am reinstalling it, it never gets past the "gc2_DarkAvatar.sdc" stage. please somebody help me. i really am not in the mood to lose 30$ so someone please help me. Thanks

I'm totally having the same problem! I've tied everything I can think of. Please let me know the cure.

Same here. Looks like it is not downloadind the right/full file? In the C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\temp folder the gc2_DarkAvatar.sdc file only is 1Kb, whereas the other files downloaded fully and then installed.
