WB for Vista - compatible skins list?

I have been searching for skins that looks ok in Vista, and have not been very successful.


Please, if you know a good WB skin that works well in Vista, please reply here.
If there is a list of such WBs, please post.

What are your complaints about the skins you've tried.

Most good skins look good in both XP and Vista.

Many skins won't even load in Vista. This may be a result of my setup, even though I have a new machine with an OEM Vista. When skins aren't combatible with my setup, they resort to a sort of Windows Classic look with altered colours. It should be noted this happens with Essorance's Nuage Redux, even though it has Vista-specific sub-skins.

Now that I think about it, no skins downloaded from WinCustomize works. It may be a problem related to installing the skins in Vista - does anyone have any experience with this?

Please post your system info from the Windowblinds configuration . . maybe something happened on install.

Figured it out - should have realized long ago that it was a problem with access to the WB directory. Made sure it was accessible from my account, and skins install smoothly now.

Yeah, even most of the old skins look surprisingly good - will have to look for some of my old favourites and see if they display properly.
