What browser are you using? Looks like a CSS issue in any case--if it was fine before, try a forced refresh with Ctrl+F5, and failing that, manually clear your cache.

I deleted the cache, but the problem is still there.

See if it's the same in IE or firefox, then, if you can.

Same thing occurs on my Opera Also:
Version
9.20
Build
8771
Platform
Win32
System
Windows XP
Java
Sun Java Runtime Environment version 1.6

Here's the thing though. The Banding happens only on the parts of teh page where Forum Posts are listed. The List of Subforums is normal. The OP's screen shot did not cover this.

It works fine in IE though.
I haven't had this problem until recently come to think of it. Perhaps in teh last 2 months, but certianly no longer than that.

EDIT - FIXED IT (sorta)
Here's a quick work around, but it has some crappy side effects:

While in the forums, go to TOOLS-> SITE PREFERENCES-> EDIT SITE PREFERENCES.
Click on the NETWORK Tab
Under BROWSER IDENTIFICATION set the Broweser to MASK AS FIREFOX.
The banding in teh forum list will disappear. However, One in a post, The small GUI box (Font, size, links, smileies, etc) above the text input box will not display correctly.

Ok, probably an issue with the Opera styles then. I'd suggest you contact websupport@stardock.com about this so it goes onto the web team's work stack.

It is not an issue in IE, but the strange thing about it is that it didn't start when the new forums were first uploaded, but for no apparent reason just a few weeks ago.

New builds periodically go up to fix bugs, tweak things, or add new features.
