Removing ObjectDock from system tray?

I've recently been introduced to the wonders that is ObjectDock and am currently using v1.9 plus. I'm perfectly satisfied with the way the program works and how I have my docks configured, and do not need the OD icon to appear in my system tray. I've searched through the options but have come up empty handed. Is there a way to remove it from the system tray? (Hidden option, command line entry, so on?)

I run the free version - never had a tray icon

I was running the free version, and I don't recall that annoying dock icon. Maybe I just forgot about it. I recently reformatted and installed the plus version. And that's how I ended up here. I too would love to get rid of the tray icon.

HELLLLOOOOO!!!???

This is ridiculous. Can't anyone confirm or deny that it might even be possible to do?

This is ridiculous.
I think a "ridiculous" label is a bit much, it's just an icon.
You can always replace the icon with a trasparent png if you really don't want to see it.

Send a email to support@stardock.com if you haven't already.  It'll get to the dev and when his list of priorities gets to whatever point this is at it'll happen (or it won't).

The "ridiculous" part was more to do with the three weeks it took for someone to reply or offer a suggestion... but since you did, thank you.

I'll drop SD an e-mail and see how it goes. TBH, the only reason I hadn't already done so was I'd assumed that ObjectDock was created by a third-party, not necessarily connected with SD.

No problems.  Glad I could give some direction/personal contact.

OD is very much a SD app and one of my favorites.

These forums really are for community support and SD employees hang out once in a while. I'll poke the SD dev that wrote OD and make sure he's aware of this thread and request.  Cool?

Add my name to the YES vote. Anyone can easily hit RMB over any empty dock space and bring up the dock settings, so while I agree this icon should be on by default, there isn't a need for the icon after one gets used to the program. So the option to turn off the icon would be appreciated, thanks.
