Why do you think that GERMANY and FRANCE were immediately opposed to the war?
Because Iraq both owed them alot money. Money that helped give the euro strength. And in some respects you an understand their opposition of the war. One of their countries main concerns is to strengthen their economic position. (isnt that a goal of every county?)
