GalCiv II Staff - WARNING - home page link hijacked!

Notice to the GalCiv staff. Trying to get to your sight this morning I clicked on my "favorites" listing and it came up with "Joe User Blog". I followed up with a search to make sure my link hadn't been infected, but when I clicked on the search link it to went to "Joe User Blog". You need to look into this ASAP so others won't have to bother with it. I got here by choosing a subsequent link shown in the search for the forum area. And I tried to get to the opening home page, but the navigation link also goes to "Joe User Blog". I hope you can figure it out!

Joe User is a Stardock Affiliated Site. Miust be doing maintainance.

You can get to the GalCiv2 Forums through forums.stardock.com if the home page is down.

Regardless, it is quite unsettling to log on to your FAVORITE game forum only to find yourself staring at the JoeUser home page... especially with all of the political topics listed, someone such as myself could see this as a 'greater conspiracy' to thwart my efforts of 'thwarting Kryo' regarding political 'discussions. But alas, I was able to navigate my way here after a few tense moments and more than a few gulps of java.

An HDD went out on one of our servers last night. Though I'm not entirely sure why it was redirecting to JU for some (it just plain wouldn't load for me), no, we weren't hacked.

Just got back from a doctor's appointment for my wife and checked again, now everything seems to be back to normal. Like Kryo said, it does seem funny that it would do that for some but not everyone. At least it's back where it should be.
