Toblerone Presents: The Doug Anthony All Stars

I feel it is my duty to introduce my geographically and generationally disadvantaged friends to the Doug Anthony All Stars (D*A*A*S). This was one of a Australia's best comedy music/serious music acts. Unfortunately they disbanded long ago.
Watch them before someone complains and takes then off youtube. They are very crude, rude and sick but very funny. These are just the ones from the Dead or Alive tour video there is more on youtube.

Warning: Not for the kiddies!

Friends

Sailor's arms

Gilbert and Sullivan: the lost songs

I fuck dogs (not me they do)

Moral Dilemmas

I saw D.A.A.S. busking in Garema Place in Canberra many years ago (before Good News Week or anything like it). I distinctly remember Tim running through the crowd collecting women's handbags. He then proceeded to go through all the handbags, describing in detail the contents and then piling all of it up in one big pile. There were some very pissed of ladies after they finished, let me tell you.

Still, they were bloody funny.

That would have been great to see. I am ashamed to say I am a late comer to DAAS fandom. I'd head of them early on but I didn't really know what they were all about. I don't think we watched the Big Gig in our house (god only knows why not since it is the sort of stuff we like).
