Loss of menu focus in new Start Menu Launcher

I am losing 'focus' on the programs menu when using the new Startmenu Launcher in OD 1.9.

See picture for what happens -

This is what it should look like -

As you can see, the Programs Menu loses focus and 'hides' behind the main menu. The menu focus is lost when the tabbed dock autohides itself. Changing the speed of the dock pop up, only changes how quickly the focus is lost.

This does not happen if I set the dock to "Reserve edge of Screen" and "Autohide", and I think it's the autohide part that fixes the problem - Is there any way of setting autohide without having to reserve the edge of the screen ?
The toggle autohide does work as well, but just leaves the dock in it's open position all the time, which is not practical.

I used to get this when using the Startmenu docklet(s) and thought it was down to the docklets itself.

I run my dock at the top of the screen but I get the same results as you do. In addition when the dock disapears the top part stays and you have to hit refresh to make it disapear. I used to get the same thing on the windows start button but that was fixed in the new release of OD

Hmm, I don't get that at all - Does your problem disappear if you set the option to reserve the edge of the screen with autohide on ?

Only in part, the top part of the screen still stays and you have to refresh to get rid of it.This is on a XP OS.
