Please Help!

I just downloaded OD 1.9, the free version, a few days ago. Great program. My problem is that after a few hours of use on my computer, the Dock suddenly disappears and I have to restart to get it to come back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh and I'm using XP.

I haven't seen that issue in what seems like forever.  Did you update from a previous version?  You might what to unistall everything and reinstall.

Hey. Mine disappeared too. I set prefs to bottom and it went under the wall.(was useing DesktopX) Now set to "Hide In Background When Not In Use". Also had a problem with the autohide on the non-tabbed dock. Was not coming back up till the mouse was in the exact spot.(only two items on dock). I kept on playing with it till I got it the way I like.
1.9 Rocks. loving it.

Nah, this is the first time I've ever used OD, I'll try the uninstall/reinstall thing and see if that helps. I think it just closes itself for some reason. I figured out that if I hit the Window key to bring up the start menu and click on OD it opens up again, so that's what I've been doing, but that just gets annoying.

if I hit the Window key

about the time it disappears, you wouldn't happen to be using window+d or window+m would you?

No, honestly thats the first time I've ever hit the key within the year I've had my computer. I just reinstalled it, so I'm gonna have to wait and see if it does it again.

Yea, that didn't work. It still seems to be closing itself for some reason after a certain amount of time. Any more help would be greatly appreciated.

what do you have 'interaction' set at in configure?

Keep on top. But I think I figured out the problem, though not necessarily the solution. It seems that when I'm physically connected to the internet (cable), it disappears. But when I'm connected wirelessly, it doesn't. Why would that be?
