Updating to a newer version

If i want to update to a newer version of ObjectDock, do i have to first uninstall the old version before installing the new one? I do not use Stardock Central as ObjectDock is the only Stardock product i use. I am using ObjectDock 1.5 Free version and i want to update to 1.9, while keeping all my docks intact. Thanks.

No

so i just have to install it in the same directory as the old one, which is "Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock" and it'll replace the files?

Just execute the install file and it will do the rest.

Additional note : I don't know if it is still so, but if You end or uninstall Objct Dock prior to installing the update, You will loose Your configuration also. Saving themes before always failed sort of, so I always update with OD running. After a re-boot everything is in order.
