Dual monitor display

Hi all.

I just got myself a dual monitor setup and I was wondering how I could play Gal Civ across the two monitors. It is possible?

Thanks in advance

Yes it is. I've run GC2 horizontal span across two monitors at 2560x1024 and it looked great. Just was to hard on my old PC. You can also run in dual view mode and set GC2 to your primary monitors resolution in windowed mode and you can mouse right out into the other monitor for browsing and such without minimizing the game.

I'm running dual monitors now, but not in spanned mode.

Just got me a nice new Samsung SyncMaster 226BW 22" widescreen.

It's nice, since this monitor looks as good in windowed mode as it does full sceeen.
My HP vs17 was quite blurry in windowed mode, so I could only run it fullscreen.

It's funny, but when I first got this system I had a TV hooked up as a second monitor.
Whenever I clicked something on the TV side the game would minimize.

Now however, I can do stuff on the HP side and the game simply pauses. Clicking in the GalCiv window resumes normal play.

But, boy oh boy!!
If any of you are in the market for a new monitor, this 226BW is really the best I have seen.

300 nits brightness
3000:1 contrast
and a blazing 2ms response time.

It is by far the best picture I have seen on any monitor.

Running two 19" monitors myself but never like the way GCII spanned across the two. Seemed that the split was always in a place i did not want it to be Pity cause the main screen rocks!!

The problem usually arises from the child windows being centered in the main display, as opposed to being centered in the current monitor (as in, the monitor in which the cursor is positioned).

Bisecting menu's and information screens between monitors is always no fun.
