SDC [Still] Won't Archive - [More] XML Data [Now] Missing

no porn in title - no support shows up

https://forums.wincustomize.com/?forumid=167&aid=148223#1169052
As mentioned last month in my post concerning passing naked aliens in moderation, SDC won't archive either in auto or manually.

Seems my xml data is missing.

Tried each server, updating each time 1st.
Refreshed xml data each time (3895kb)
My xml data is still lacking.

The only way I can archive is to select one that available then download and archive.
In order to use it, I have to unistall the version I'm using first ---- but since I can't archive that one, I'll lose it.

I like making archives of the version I'm using in case I have to roll back.

But I can't

regarding your "topic"..... One virus/ad-ware scanner I used some time ago actually did report loader.exe (SDC launcher) as being a dialer

So, I downloaded and archived OD 1.9 and then go to uninstall 1.5 (that's the only way I get WB updated) - click 'uninstall' and get:

There has been an error uninstalling ObjectDock. Would you like to set the item as uninstalled?

What the..?

I'm having a problem with archiving as well. After trying to install the latest version of OD+ and it crashed SDC would not let me go back to the older version even though it was listed there.

Archiving uninstalling & updating working perfectly here. Archived OD 1.59...uninstalled OD & all skins & themes, restarted Computer & installed OD+ 1.9 ..and archived 1.9
SDC version 2.43.451 build 147
XP PRO SP2

And now, OD free isn't showing up in SDC or add/remove = does show up in the Zapper list.

SDC's 'retore' had no effect

redownloaded/installed SDC
message - new version available (same one I have)
allowed update

SDC couldn't login and then crashed when reopened

reopened - logged in

Object Dock still not showing in free stuff

no change to xml data (as shown above - except ODock's is now showing once I got 1.9 installed = it just doesn't show in SDC) in 'installed' folder

Internet Options/ Advanced/ Security: Only 4-6-9 and 10 should be checked.

Blaster shouldn't be a problem......Trend on the other hand........

Have you tried disabling Trend and doing the archive/ install?

4-6-8-9-10 (clear my temp)

Hadn't tried disabling TM - been using it since the Norton/BITS/SP2 thing

been using it since the Norton/BITS/SP2 thing

I remember that..............took you three days to download it.........

Look in your Microsoft Update 'Installed' history list. See if you have NET Framework 3 and MSXML Core Services 6.0 (sp1) installed.
