spacer-save as type gif

I can't download previews or screenshot from the gallery sence I became a subscriber. These are a mainstay to keep track of dates, authers and etc. I can't even copy my own.Any help someone.

This started happening to me just recently.
Full view a preview image and right click to "save picture as" and you get "spacer.gif" everytime.

The title does not clearly describe your problem. And your description does not provide any links.  You don't list what browsers you have used.

I accidentally clicked on this article.  Otherwise I would not have known that there was a problem.

Try retitling your post to something like "Unable to save Preview images" and provide more detail.

Also, you can always email websupport@stardock.com to report a problem with the websites.

This is a security feature that we added recently.  You will not be able to right click and save the images in the preview window.

We will be making an exception for this for the Screenshots library so that you will be able to right click/Save As for this library.  This exception will only be made for this library.  The change will be available on Monday.

It's clicking on the download button and when the image comes up you can't save as. In other words...no download.

Ive been wondering why the previews are being saved as" spacer.gifs "
Its a bit of a hassle for people like me on dialup ...I always try the preview on my desktop first before I invest 15 minutes in a 4 mb d/load...

But, back to the actual Download itself. I've run into 3 walls so far this week that the wall was not zipped. Now thats not normally a problem, but for me , when I go to save as: the walls comes up as " download.aspx " rather than a Jpeg...

Not sure if this is a FF (version 2.0.0.3 ) problem or a universal one. FF has not had an update in awhile and I notice Smiley Extra plugin is no longer working and FF seems to be crashing more often when Im at WC.

The latest wall with the download.aspx extention was " Kingfisher"

A few days ago it was the was " Spring" by chu but she updated it and zipped the wall this time.

Is anyone else seeing this .aspx ext on unzipped walls ?

PS: yes, Im able to change the extention by renaming the wall to " Wallname.jpeg "
but im wondering why I need to suddenly be doing this.

I'm running 2.0.0.3 and SmileyXtra is fine (v4.1.1) - try tools > add-ons > find updates

previewing IRB's Neutronium DM logon and right clicking = spacer.gif / alternate = 8327.jpg (I like setting logons as walls at work - spooks the IT staff )

same with walls - right click = spacer.gif / alternate = .jpg

I checked for updates - said there were none.

Are you saying when you Right Click on wall your seeing spacer.gif/alternate = .jpeg ?

or are you changing it ?

SmileyXtra is up to date, for me it is hit and miss, will work on some, not many, threads but not all, does not seem to be working on comments section of skins.

This is a security feature that we added recently.


When people use smaller previews or for a bootskin to see how good or poor the color decreasing is before downloading, Image Zoom in FF is useless as whole page tries to zoom.
