Google has been pushing web apps for some time now, and from personal experience with Google Spreadsheets there are advantages and disadvantages to the system. While I'm a GMail user, and as mentioned use Google Spreadsheets, I have yet to fully plunge into the world of Google Apps and so I found this a very interesting read.
