Multiplicity for Monitoring

Can Multiplicity be used to monitor computers in other rooms (i.e. can I use the desktop in my home office as the primary and monitor the activity of the other computers in the house as the secondaries)? Or can I use my administrator computer in a small lab to monitor the activities of my students working on other computers?
