may be a user permissions issue.

is the other account a limited (not that it should matter) or admin?

from a post in DEC., (repy by me)

it's always worked on my wife's account (admin)
it's supposed to work even on limited accounts

I just tried it by creating a limited account - logged into it. Had to start WB via SDC (no systray and not in appearance tab)- once running, picked a skin and it set - logged out, logged in = skin up at startup.

rebooted - logged in = skin up at startup and now WB shows in systray and appearance tab

another post from NOV., WWW Link

oh and 2 other things:

1) did you do a complete wipe of the previous version(s) you had installed?

2) Welcome back, Citizen

yes I did do a complete wipe. Also both of the other accounts are Admin.

One of the many advantages of purchasing WindowBlinds is that you also get great support from the community as well as official Stardock support.  You may wish to contact support@stardock.com also.  They will be able to resolve your issue.

and reboots in between wiping/installing/running, yes?

what happens when the other accounts try to use it?

reply #5 is good advice - official is through support@stardock.com

while the channel is 'support' - even the support page will tell you it's user based support (& sometimes we suck at it....)

yes i reboot every time. Now I cant even use it. If I aply a skin. It works great. But after I reboot my pc I just get Windows Classic. This happens with every user now.

I'll call support on Friday
