Letting the player pick a race in custom Scenarios

For custom scenarios, is there a way to let the player choose which race to play instead of limiting them to the specified one?

I managed to get them to be the "Custom" race by setting PlayerRace=12, but that's not quite the same.

As i understand the scenariofile, you will not be able to select the playable race, since its, as you said, predefined in the scenariofile. If it cures your disappointment, I'll be releasing a Scenarioeditor soon
