i was sent a 2nd DA CD

I hope I am not going to get charged a 2nd time

suprize, suprize, in my snail mail today I received another brown mailer with a DA disk inside. I did NOT request a second one nor did a authorize payment on my credit card for a second one, so if my credit card gets charged I will be reporting credit card *fraud* to my credit card company.
I sincerley hope this is a mistake and that I won't be charged, and I will of course send the extra CD back; but I don't think I should have to pay the mailing fee to send it back do you? I hope this can be resolved very quickly; before I have to contact my credit card company.
This is one of the reasons I have never liked buying something online; because once they have your credit card number they can in theory say you purchased anything they like. I hope to hear from you soon.

Maybe if you are on the other side of the world; because here it is not a holiday of any kind. Easter was yesterday for those that celebrate it; but today isn't any holiday i know of. Maybe you could enlighten me as to what holiday you are speaking of.

Tell that to your bank... or a school. Both are closed today here. Regardless, you should contact Stardock's billing folks since it will have to go to them anyways if there is a billing problem.

Hi its me again do as i said if you want further more info to know if you are going to be charged or not go to https://www.stardock.helpserve.com submit a ticket register with your name and email and create a password

Then you should be emailed within 48 hours!

From my experience, you do not have anything to worry about with Stardock with regards to any malicious activity like that. In all likelihood, a second CD went out by mistake on their part after seeing you had paid for it.

Give your credit card company a call and ask if there are two charges for same amount from Stardock. If so, get the date and amount so you have something to bring to stardock. You'll get a quicker response from the card company and you may not need to even contact Stardock. Just look at it as a back-up disc as I would not think they would want it mailed back regardless.

If it is a billing error, they will work it out.

BTW, no holiday here either. Holiday schedules (schools, local gov, banks) seem to be different all over the US.

Here in my state at least in the USA, bothe the schools and the banks were open; but back on topic, I did contact them and have a ticket which I am waiting for a reply on

Our offices were closed Friday-Monday this weekend.

I did contact them and have a ticket number and as soon as I hear from them i will post here. BTW, you have any ideas why my rank keeps going up, and up and up, lol. It is not a problem; but I am just wondering; because I haven't been here a month yet and seem to be advancing in rank far above those that have much, much higher scores. My empire with just me in it, is now ranked 126th? One more question if you don't mind? Is there a place which shows how many empires/players are currently in the metaverse?

It's based on the number of games submitted too, AFAIK. Those big scorers have likely submitted a smaller number of games.

Is there a place which shows how many empires/players are currently in the metaverse?


Just go to the rankings and hit the 'last page' button. There are currently 4672 ranked characters and 1114 ranked empires (plus many more with 0 games posted).
