Has this happened to anyone else??

Neutrality PQ bug

Just a quick question for everyone. When you go Neutral Alignment, You're supposed to get all upgradeable tiles right away, vice having to research the soil enhancement, habitat improvement and terraforming techs. However, on the last couple of games i've played, when i choose Neutral alignment, my planets will say that they are upgraded, but in reality they aren't. Example: I have a PQ 10 planet with 1 tile each for Se, HI and T. When I research Xeno Ethics and choose Neutral, The planet now says it's PQ 13, but there are only 10 buildable tiles. Am I doing something wrong? 1 or 2 tiles is irritating but livable but when you've got a PQ 20 planet with 6 upgradeable tiles it becomes really aggravating. Is this happening to anyone else or is it just me?

Thanks

It's broken in DL. It's been fixed in later patches of DA (I think 1.5x3 is the first that has this working)

Wait, I thought the latest DA (not the beta) didn't give neutral the automatic terraforming. And that's what happened (i.e., didn't happen) in my last game, as Thalans. I had to research and build all terraforms. It was too powerful for neutral as it was in DL.

The issue you're having is a different one, where the planet quality doesn't match tile number. That has indeed been fixed in the latest DA.

In DA, neutral races should have the tiles unlocked upon researching the appropriate tech, without needing to manually build terraforming projects. This contrasts with DL where all three levels of tiles are instantly unlocked at xeno ethics regardless of terrafroming research.
