how to use ship mods

I have DA version 1.5, and i tried to use one of the ship packs mod. I put it in the dark avatar mods foler and when booted up the game, selected to use that particular mod.

When i play a custom race and choose a custom ship style, how come the mod ship pack don't show up?? what am i doing wrong?

For my mod, follow the directions in the DA verison readme. You say you selected to use the mod in-game, so I assume you've already got that out of the way.

The Enterprise one is not a mod, just the model file and textures. In order to get it into the game you need to mod it in manually, which is covered in the readme included with it. If you have any difficulty or particular questions about this, feel free to ask.

For cric's ships, you should just need to put the xml and shipcfg files in My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar\ships, and play the game using the Terran ship style. Once you get into the game, you should have access to the ships as your technology allows.
